Hello all!

We had a very relaxing youth Tues.  Just watched a movie and ate jello.  And counted flamingos.  (19 birds and black connecters, no legs anywhere...)  It was a nice night.

This Tues we are decorating the sanctuary Christmas tree, and I have a problem.  Today (!) Leo's school sent the announcement that his school program is that night.  (nice notice...)  Anyway, I'd like to get started earlier than usual (I'll be there at 5) and if one of you parents had wanted to come (as you are all invited!) and stay through to the finish that would be really really great.  Please let me know, we're on a tight time line.  And I'M SORRY!!!  Also remember it's a great night to send treats!!!

We're hosting Jessica's baby's baptism on the 10th, so a little help serving and cleaning up would be awesome.

And one last thing.  The kids had traditionally taken a trip to Clackamas Town Center with Allison sometime in the holiday season.  I didn't know that so I didn't plan for that.  I don't have time left to add a day trip anywhere.  All 3 of the kids I talked to said it's a for sure that they'd like to go if someone can be the driver and chaperone.  You'd be looking at a possible 7 kids if every sr youth said they'd go.  I made NO PROMISES on this one, I just said I'd put out feelers to see if anyone had the time, energy and inclination.  A Saturday would be great, or winter break starts Sat the 16th.
