Hello all!

A great big Shout Out and Thank You to Jonet Schutz and David Gerecke!!!  The sanctuary tree looks great!!!  Jordan and Katie too!  (And thanks to Jan Shearer for willingness to help!)

This Friday and Saturday is our Days of Joy outreach to the community.  The youth are signed up to be gift wrappers.  As I told you in the last email, I'm working both nights.  I need some parental help here (both getting the kids in the room and helping them wrap!)  Kathy C is signed up already, but there are several spots available.  Thank you in advance!

Up next is a big event for a little baby!  We are hosting the baptismal cake reception for Jessica and baby Paige Elizabeth.  It's immediately following service this Sunday, and just involves serving cake and cleaning up.

Tuesday (the 12th) is a more involved event, and I need help!  It's the youth's traditional service event of babysitting.  I need good participation from the kids, and help with snacks for our little charges.  Also, any craft handy folks are welcome to join us and help the kids assemble something to take home.  (Mrs Pat donated lots of crafty stuff, it's just a matter of supervision!)

And lastly, we'll meet Monday the 18th instead of Tuesday the 19th.  It's Live Nativily Night, and we have some spots for shepards and wisemen.  Even if all the spots get signed up for, still come!  Somebody might wimp out, and we'll all be there together!  It should be a lot of fun, and there has been a persistant rumor of pizza...  

I haven't heard from any volunteers for a trip to Clackamas.  That's okay, we'll make a real effort to go next year!
